Our Data Analytics Platform is looking for a Data Scientist to help drive commercial and operational decision-making through advanced analytics, machine learning, forecasting, and optimization solutions. If you're passionate about turning data into actionable insights and building scalable data science solutions, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do
Own end-to-end data science workstreams, translating business challenges into practical analytical and machine learning solutions.
Assess data readiness, modeling feasibility, risks, assumptions, and implementation constraints before development.
Design and develop forecasting, prediction, optimization, recommendation, and decision-support models using maintainable and reusable approaches.
Lead model validation activities including backtesting, benchmarking, robustness testing, sensitivity analysis, and evaluation of alternative methods.
Partner with Product, Data Engineering, and MLOps teams to support deployment, monitoring, model refreshes, and continuous improvement.
Communicate technical findings, assumptions, limitations, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance, peer reviews, and mentoring to junior Data Scientists while contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing.
About you
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar applied analytics role.
Strong knowledge of statistics, machine learning, forecasting, optimization, and decision science methods.
Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience building maintainable and reproducible code.
Experience with Azure, Databricks, or similar cloud analytics platforms, including collaboration with Data Engineering and MLOps teams.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
