Business Operations Manager

Atticus is seeking a business operations professional who thrives on creating lasting impact. You'll report to the Head of Operations and play a key role in scaling the impact of the Ops function.

About the role
As a Business Operations Manager, you'll be executing business-wide projects that ensure Atticus is proactively built on effective systems that power our people. You’ll draw on your ability to identify bottlenecks in ways of working to reduce friction as we scale.
You’ll be joining a small team, so nothing is really out of scope and no two days will be exactly the same. That said, here are some things that you could have worked on recently:
Assisted with implementing agentic technologies internally - helped to assess agentic tools and develop an effective roll-out plan.
Unlocked insights through data - built reports and dashboards displaying key data like feature usage and commercial performance.
Managed and optimised our CRM – built and improved workflows, properties and automations to better support how teams work and keep our data accurate and useful.
Audited our tech-stack - looked for bloat in our existing tooling and explored how we can optimise the new tooling request process.
Helped teams solve business problems – partnered with stakeholders across teams to tackle challenges like developing a customer health score and identifying opportunities to improve our GTM process.
Kept day-to-day operations running smoothly – jumped on issues as they arose, fixed broken tools and workflows, and helped resolve operational problems across the business.
About you
As a Business Operations professional, you’ll most likely be a highly capable generalist with an innate ability to deconstruct problems and develop the right solutions. You’ll be used to navigating ambiguity and developing relationships cross-functionally to drive effective change. This could lend you to having a range of skill-sets, however, experience in internal agent implementation and data analysis would be advantageous.

Creative and flexible. We’re a small team doing things nobody has done before, so you’ll be excited about tackling unknown problems and pitching in to help even when you don’t feel like you know exactly what you’re doing.
Natural communicator. Communication is a first-class skill, particularly in a remote world, so we take it seriously. More than just good spelling and grammar, you’re great at building relationships and getting things done with others, whether it’s through Slack, Zoom, or in person.
Measure twice, cut once. We believe that long-term, true velocity and agility come from planning enough so that you can move fast without breaking things. “Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.”
Bias toward action. Generally, when in doubt, you try something and see if it works. Yes, doing the right thing is best, but doing the not-quite-right thing and learning from it is better than doing nothing.
Outcome-focused. You don’t confuse a great slide deck for genuine user outcomes. You’re able to separate the process from the outcome, and if you’re blocked on the process you were expecting to take, you try other ways of getting that outcome.
