About the Role
We are looking for skilled and motivated Estimation Engineers to join our Estimation team across Junior Trainee and Senior levels. The role will involve quantity take-offs, cost estimation, budgeting, rate analysis, cost control, and coordination with project and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Assist with / lead project budgeting, block budgeting, and cost planning depending on experience level.
Perform rate analysis, cost calculations, and budget reconciliation.
Monitor project costs against approved budgets and analyze cost variances.
Prepare and maintain estimation records, cost databases, MIS reports, and project documentation.
Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization without compromising quality or performance.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Planning teams on project costing and commercial requirements.
Analyze material consumption, productivity, and utilization to improve estimation accuracy.
Feed and maintain estimates, budgets, and cost-related data in ERP systems.
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, dashboards, and technical documents.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Follow company estimation procedures, standards, and cost norms.
Experience & Role Expectations
Junior Trainee Estimation Engineer – 0–2 Years
Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience can apply.
Basic understanding of engineering drawings and quantity take-offs.
Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Internship/project exposure in estimation, costing, quantity surveying, or project engineering will be an advantage.
Strong willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Senior Estimation Engineer – 5–6 Years
5–6 years of relevant experience in estimation, budgeting, and project costing.
Hands-on experience in High-Rise Building Project Estimation is preferred.
Strong expertise in detailed estimation, BOQs, quantity take-offs, and rate analysis.
Experience in block budgeting, cost control, budget reconciliation, and variance analysis.
Knowledge of value engineering and cost optimization.
Experience in material consumption and productivity analysis.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and cost databases.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and cost analysis tools.
Strong coordination, communication, and analytical skills.
Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
