What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst, Cambodia & Myanmar (C&M) Hub, who is passionate about financial reporting, data analysis, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will support the delivery of shareholder and regulatory reporting, contribute to the alignment of reporting processes across markets in Cambodia and Myanmar, and help strengthen actuarial reporting controls and best practices. You will also be involved in experience studies, financial analysis, and the implementation of evolving reporting standards, including IFRS 17. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to work effectively with complex data and actuarial models while maintaining high standards of accuracy and documentation.
What are we expecting from this role?
Share shareholder and regulatory reports based on standards such as IFRS, EEV, and local statutory, implementing appropriate controls and conducting thorough analysis.
Provide support for controls related to report production, including model management, assumption setting, input, and calculations using various tools.
Align reporting approaches in Cambodia and Myanmar with Cambodia into a unified platform.
Assist in other actuarial projects within the Cambodia & Myanmar Hub as needed.
Develop and implement best practices for actuarial reporting methodology.
Ensure proper and comprehensive documentation of reporting tasks' methodology and procedures.
Support experience studies involving mortality, morbidity, expense, persistency, and investment experience.
Assist in the preparation and implementation of IFRS17.
Conduct sensitivity analysis of financial metrics.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
Who are we looking for?
Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
Knowledge in the Actuarial field is preferred.
Progress in Actuarial exams is preferred.
Progress towards Actuarial professional qualification is desirable.
Understanding of accounting principles is desirable.
Possesses good conceptual, analytical, and financial skills with strong logical thinking.
Strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to influence and present effectively.
Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and an appreciation for the learning curve when transitioning from school to a corporate working environment.
