Strategic Partnerships Manager (12-month Fixed Term Contract)

At ING Australia, we believe business banking should help businesses start, run and grow with confidence. As we continue to expand our Business Banking proposition, we're looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our team on a 12-month parental leave cover based in Sydney.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future direction of Business Banking by identifying, developing and launching partnerships that create value for customers and support ING's growth ambitions. You'll work across products, payments, distribution channels and business communities to build a differentiated ecosystem that extends beyond traditional banking.
You'll combine strategic thinking, commercial acumen and strong stakeholder management skills to take partnership opportunities from concept to implementation, helping deliver innovative solutions for Australian businesses.
What you'll do
Develop and execute ING Business Banking's partnership and ecosystem strategy, identifying opportunities to enhance our proposition and differentiate ING in the market.
Identify, assess and prioritise partnership opportunities based on customer needs, market trends, competitive dynamics and commercial value.
Build business cases and lead partnership opportunities from evaluation and negotiation through to contracting, implementation and governance.
Collaborate with teams across Business Banking, Marketing, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, Operations and Technology to successfully deliver partnership initiatives.
Manage and optimise the partnership portfolio, tracking performance, customer outcomes and commercial impact while identifying future growth opportunities.
What we're looking for
Proven experience in strategic partnerships, proposition or business development
Strong understanding of Business Banking, including customer needs, products, market dynamics and emerging trends.
Demonstrated ability to develop strategy, build business cases and influence investment or proposition decisions through data-driven insights.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse internal and external partners.
Experience navigating complex organisations and delivering outcomes across multiple initiatives, from concept through to implementation.
