The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Laravel Developer who has worked extensively on Billing, Finance, Accounts, Insurance/TPA or Revenue Cycle modules within an HMIS / HIS / EMR / Hospital ERP product.
This is not a generic Laravel developer role.
We specifically want someone who understands the complexity of hospital billing workflows and can take technical ownership of a major Billing & Finance module.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on a mature production system, understanding existing billing logic, designing new workflows, solving complex transactional issues and working closely with product and hospital domain teams.
What You Will Work On
Develop and enhance PRESCO’s Hospital Billing and Finance modules
Work on complex IPD and OPD billing workflows
Design and maintain tariffs, service rates, packages and billing rules
Handle patient deposits, advances, refunds, adjustments and settlements
Develop discount, authorization and approval workflows
Work on cash, credit, corporate, insurance and TPA billing
Build and maintain invoices, receipts, credit notes, debit notes and settlements
Develop finance, reconciliation and billing MIS reports
Work on billing integrations with Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, OT, IPD and other HMIS modules
Develop and maintain Insurance / TPA / Corporate billing workflows
Handle complex billing calculations and financial validations
Optimize MySQL queries for high-volume transactional data
Improve performance of existing billing workflows
Build APIs and integrations with third-party systems
Troubleshoot production issues related to transactions, calculations and reconciliation
Work closely with product, finance and implementation teams
Technical Skills Required
4–6 years of software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel
Strong experience with MySQL
Good understanding of relational database design
Strong SQL and query optimization skills
Experience building complex transactional applications
REST API development and integrations
Good understanding of Git and version control
Experience with role-based access, validations and application security
Ability to work with large production databases
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
HMIS / Billing Experience – Strongly Preferred

Who We Are Looking For
4–6 years of strong Laravel + MySQL development experience
Prior HMIS / HIS / EMR development experience preferred
Hands-on exposure to a major Billing, Finance or RCM module
Ability to understand complex hospital billing workflows
Ability to take ownership of a large existing module
Strong analytical and debugging skills
Comfortable working with financial transactions where accuracy is critical
Ability to independently solve production issues
Good communication with product and functional teams
Experience working on enterprise software used by multiple customers
