🚀 We’re Hiring | Mechanical Design Engineer – Aerospace
At DeployNXT, we’re building hardware that moves from CAD to the real world — and we’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.
If you enjoy designing complex mechanical systems, working with SolidWorks, FEA, GD&T, spacecraft structures, and real-world hardware integration, this could be a great opportunity.
🔧 What you’ll work on
* Design and develop mechanical structures & assemblies using SolidWorks
* Perform FEA — structural, modal, buckling & vibration analysis
* Work on tolerance stack-ups & GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
* Design and integrate wire harnesses and mechanical supports
* Support spacecraft/vehicle integration and qualification testing
* Work with vendors on manufacturing, inspection & hardware delivery
* Take ownership of mechanical subassemblies from design → analysis → integration → testing
🎯 What we’re looking for
* Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related field
* 2–3 years of experience in mechanical/aerospace structural design
* Strong SolidWorks skills
* Experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus or equivalent
* Understanding of composites, sandwich panels & high-temperature materials
* Experience with tolerance analysis and GD&T
* Exposure to hardware integration and environmental testing
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
⭐ Bonus if you have
Experience with spacecraft structures, harness routing, qualification testing, strain-relief design, or taking assemblies from concept all the way to hardware.
