Oracle Fusion WMS Technofunctional Consultant 10+ Years Experience • Global Implementation • Job Title: Oracle Fusion WMS Technofunctional Consultant (Senior / Lead / Principal) • Experience Required: 10+ Years • Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract • Location: India (Pan-India / Remote / Hybrid) — with willingness to travel for global rollouts • Education: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech or equivalent • Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days Preferred Role Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Fusion WMS Technofunctional Consultant with 10+ years of overall experience, including multiple end-to-end global implementations of Oracle Fusion Warehouse Management System (WMS) Cloud. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of functional warehouse operations knowledge and technical configuration/extension capability, with proven experience delivering multi-country, multi-site rollouts across diverse regulatory and business environments. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional Oracle Fusion (ERP/SCM) teams to design and deliver scalable warehouse solutions. Key Responsibilities Functional Consulting & Solution Design • Lead requirement gathering workshops with global business stakeholders to understand warehouse operations, inventory strategies, and fulfillment processes across regions. • Design and configure Oracle Fusion WMS Cloud to support inbound (receiving, putaway), outbound (wave planning, picking, packing, shipping), inventory management, cycle counting, and cross-docking processes. • Define and configure WMS rules, strategies, task types, and labor management setups aligned to client-specific warehouse layouts and operating models. • Drive fit-gap analysis, solution blueprinting, and business process re-engineering for warehouse operations during global rollouts. • Prepare functional design documents (FDD), business requirement documents (BRD), and process flow diagrams. Technical Configuration & Extensions • Configure and extend Oracle Fusion WMS using Application Composer, Page Composer, Sandboxes, and Groovy scripting. • Develop and support integrations between Fusion WMS and ERP/SCM (Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, Transportation Management) using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP web services, and FBDI/HDL templates. • Configure and troubleshoot RF (radio frequency) device screens, mobile transactions, and barcode/label printing setups. • Support data conversion and migration activities (item masters, locators, onhand inventory) for warehouse go-lives. • Work with technical teams on custom reports, OTBI/BI Publisher reports, and dashboards for warehouse KPIs. Global Implementation & Rollout Management • Lead or support multiple global/multi-country WMS implementations, ensuring alignment with local regulatory, tax, and operational requirements. • Manage template-based rollout methodology (global template design, localization, and site-by-site deployment). • Coordinate with regional teams, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and carrier/EDI partners for localized configurations. • Support multi-time-zone project delivery and stakeholder management across geographies. Testing, Deployment & Support • Lead SIT, UAT, and Warehouse Simulation/Dry-run cycles to validate configurations against real-world warehouse scenarios. • Own cutover planning, go-live execution, and hypercare support for warehouse sites, including peak-volume readiness. • Provide L2/L3 production support, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning for live WMS operations. • Mentor junior functional and technical consultants across project teams. Required Skills & Qualifications Mandatory Skills • 10+ years of overall IT/functional experience, with a minimum of 5–6 years dedicated to Oracle Fusion WMS Cloud (technofunctional role). • Proven experience across at least 2–3 full-cycle global implementations of Oracle Fusion WMS Cloud (multi-country/multi-site). • Strong functional knowledge of warehouse processes: receiving, putaway, replenishment, wave planning, picking strategies, packing, shipping, cycle counting, and physical inventory. • Hands-on configuration experience with WMS rules engine, task management, labor management, and container/license plate management. • Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Inventory Management, Order Management, and Procurement modules as they relate to WMS. • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar middleware for WMSERP-3PL integrations. • Proficiency with FBDI, HDL, REST/SOAP APIs, and data migration tools for WMS. • Familiarity with RF device configuration, barcode scanning, and label printing (Zebra/label design tools). Global Delivery Skills • Experience working with multi-region client stakeholders, understanding localization requirements (tax, compliance, language). • Exposure to global template rollout methodology and change management for phased deployments. • Ability to manage or work within distributed, multi-time-zone project teams. Technical Skills (Preferred) • Groovy scripting, Application/Page Composer customizations. • OTBI, BI Publisher report development for warehouse analytics. • Understanding of OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) fundamentals. • Exposure to CI/CD and version control practices (Git, Jenkins) for Fusion configurations. Soft Skills • Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills, essential for global engagements. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation abilities. • Proven leadership in guiding cross-functional and cross-geography project teams. • Flexibility to work across time zones and travel as required for on-site rollout phases. Good to Have • Prior experience migrating from legacy WMS (Manhattan, SAP EWM, Blue Yonder, HighJump) to Oracle Fusion WMS Cloud. • Exposure to Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) or third-party TMS integrations. • Experience in retail, 3PL/logistics, manufacturing, or distribution domains. • Knowledge of EDI transactions (ASN, 856, 940, 943/944/945) relevant to warehouse operations. • Experience with Oracle Process Automation (OPA) for warehouse workflow automation. • Exposure to IoT/automation integrations (conveyor systems, automated storage/retrieval systems - AS/RS). Preferred Certifications (not mandatory) • Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM / Warehouse Management Certified Implementation Specialist. • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Foundations Associate or higher.
