Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Velachery. This role involves conducting keyword research, performing regular SEO audits, and optimizing on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, content, and internal links. The specialist will manage link-building initiatives, monitor performance using web analytics tools, and prepare reports with actionable insights and recommendations. Daily responsibilities also include collaborating with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO best practices, staying current with search engine algorithm updates, and proactively identifying new opportunities for organic growth.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Keyword Research skills, including search intent analysis and competitive benchmarking.
Candidates should possess skills in SEO Audits and On-Page SEO, including technical checks, content optimization, and site structure improvements.
Candidates should possess Link Building skills, including outreach, relationship building, and management of high-quality backlink profiles.
Candidates should possess Web Analytics skills, including use of tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and related reporting platforms.
Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals (crawlability, indexation, site speed, mobile responsiveness, structured data).
Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into clear SEO strategies and actions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams on-site in Velachery.
Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog) and familiarity with content management systems.

Relevant academic background in marketing, communications, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
