Artificial Intelligence Researcher

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Artificial Intelligence Researcher. The role involves designing and conducting AI research experiments, developing and evaluating machine learning and pattern recognition models, and analyzing complex datasets to generate insights that inform product features. The researcher will collaborate with software engineers and other stakeholders to prototype and integrate AI solutions into production systems, document methodologies and findings, and present results in a clear, accessible way. Daily responsibilities include reviewing relevant academic and industry literature, implementing algorithms, tuning models, validating performance using statistical methods, and contributing to long-term AI research roadmaps. The Artificial Intelligence Researcher is expected to work independently, manage multiple research initiatives, and maintain high standards of scientific rigor and code quality in a remote environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
Proficiency in Data Science and Statistics, with experience in experimental design, data analysis, and model evaluation.
Expertise in Pattern Recognition and related machine learning techniques for classification, clustering, and feature extraction.
Demonstrated Research skills, including literature review, hypothesis formulation, experimentation, and technical reporting.
Experience with common AI/ML tools and languages (e.g., Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and version control systems.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences and to collaborate in remote teams.
Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
Background in deploying or scaling AI models in real-world applications, and familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is beneficial.
