Remote - Keycloak Engineer

The client is Asia’s leading independent wealth advisor and investment platform.
Responsibilities
Keycloak Implementation & Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain robust Keycloak environments tailored to enterprise-scale applications.
Custom Extension Development: Design and develop custom Keycloak extensions, custom themes, and Service Provider Interfaces (SPIs) to meet specific business and security requirements.
Protocol Integration: Implement and manage modern identity and access management protocols, ensuring secure, seamless access across systems using OIDC, OAuth, DCR, SAML, and passwordless authentication (Passkeys).
System Integration: Work closely with backend engineering teams to integrate Keycloak with microservices and existing legacy systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for authentication. Communicate complex security concepts effectively across multiple business areas, engineering teams, and stakeholders.
Security & Compliance: Ensure all authentication flows meet strict financial industry security standards and best practices.
Requirements
Extensive experience with Keycloak implementation and extension, and proficiency in modern authentication and authorization protocols (OIDC, OAuth, DCR, SAML, passkeys).
Proficiency in Scala is preferred; Java is acceptable if necessary.
Strong English communication skills for effective collaboration across multiple business areas.
