Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Journal Research & Database Management
Identify suitable journals from Scopus and other recognized indexing
databases for potential collaboration opportunities.
Conduct detailed research on journal profiles, publication scope, indexing
status, publisher information, and editorial structure.
Collect, verify, and maintain accurate Editor-in-Chief (EiC), editorial office, and
publisher contact details.
Build and maintain a centralized journal outreach database for future
engagement activities.
Regularly review and update journal information to ensure data accuracy and
reliability.
Monitor journal indexing status, publisher credibility, and publication quality
indicators.
2. Editorial Contact Verification & Data Validation
Verify Editor-in-Chief names, designations, institutional affiliations, and
contact information.
Validate publisher details, editorial office contacts, and official communication
channels.
Cross-check journal information using official journal websites and recognized
indexing platforms.
Maintain data accuracy standards for journal records and outreach databases.
Ensure timely updating of newly identified journals and editorial contacts.
3. Outreach & Communication Support
Initiate professional communication with Editors-in-Chief, editorial offices, and
publishers.
Support outreach campaigns aimed at exploring journal collaboration
opportunities.
Manage communication records and maintain outreach history for each
journal.
Execute follow-up communications according to established outreach
schedules.
Facilitate professional engagement and information exchange with journal
representatives.
Respond to routine communication and information requests related to
collaboration activities.
4. Collaboration Development & Relationship Management
Support relationship-building activities with journal representatives and
publishing organizations.
Assist in identifying potential areas of mutual academic and publication
interest.
Coordinate meetings, discussions, and communication between journal
representatives and management teams.
Track engagement progress and maintain records of ongoing collaboration
discussions.
Support activities related to collaboration exploration and partnership
development.
Maintain professional and productive relationships with journal stakeholders.
5. Collaboration Documentation & Record Management
Maintain records of journal interactions, collaboration discussions, and
communication outcomes.
Organize and archive collaboration-related documents, agreements, and
supporting records.
Update collaboration trackers and status reports on a regular basis.
Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
Support compliance with organizational documentation and record-retention
requirements.
6. Reporting & Operational Support
Prepare periodic reports on journal research, outreach activities, engagement
status, and collaboration progress.
Monitor key outreach metrics, response rates, and engagement trends.
Share observations and recommendations to improve journal outreach
effectiveness.
Support management reviews by providing accurate operational data and
status updates.
Assist in special projects and initiatives related to journal collaborations and
publication development.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with publication, conference, editorial, and management teams
regarding journal collaboration activities.
Support resolution of communication and coordination issues affecting
collaboration initiatives.
Escalate critical matters requiring management attention when necessary.
Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
Perform additional duties related to journal collaborations and publication
development as assigned by management.

publishing platforms is an advantage.
Strong communication, organizational, and data management skills.
