Job Description
This position requires the following knowledge and abilities:
Teach a variety of Radiologic Technology courses in a diverse student-centered learning community.
Deliver Radiologic Technology lectures, lab, simulation, and clinical instruction.
Develop and implement Radiologic Technology curriculum.
Mentor, advise, and assess students.
Participate in professional development activities.
Participate in program/department activities including accreditation and program review, staff meetings, and other department work.
Demonstrate positive communication and teamwork skills.
Maintain a flexible schedule for college course assignment.
Salary Range:
Salary and benefits will be based on the collective bargaining agreement between Minnesota State College Faculty (MSCF) and the State of Minnesota. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
Faculty
Salary min: $50,721
Salary max: $74,049
*Existing faculty would keep their current salary or candidates with higher education levels could be placed higher in the salary range.
Salary max: $101,619
Minimum Qualifications
Educational Requirement
Bachelor’s degree.
Occupational Experience Requirement
Two full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered technologist.
Recency Requirement
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
Professional Requirement
Certified as a Registered Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Preferred Qualification
Master’s Degree
College-level teaching experience in Radiologic Technology.
Commitment to inclusive teaching and supporting a student population with varied interests, abilities, and experiences.
Experience assessing student learning outcomes and providing academic support or remediation.
Knowledge of radiologic technology practice, the ASRT Practice Standards, radiography education standards, and evidence-based patient care.
Experience with JRCERT accreditation processes, including self-study preparation, assessment, outcomes reporting, and continuous program improvement.
Demonstrated ability to teach effectively using a variety of instructional methods, including online and hybrid formats, and using technology.
