Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Subject Matter Expert – Data Science role based in Coimbatore. The role involves designing and updating data science curricula to align with current industry standards and academic requirements. Daily responsibilities include developing course materials, creating hands-on projects and case studies, and delivering engaging classroom and lab sessions. The Subject Matter Expert will mentor students on data science concepts, guide them through practical assignments, and support their preparation for global certifications. The role also includes collaborating with academic and industry partners to continuously refine content, assess learning outcomes, and participate in faculty development initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Data Science and Data Analytics skills, with practical exposure to real-world applications.
Candidates should possess solid Statistics and Data Analysis skills to explain and apply statistical methods in data-driven decision-making.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to design problem-solving exercises and guide students through complex data scenarios.
Experience with common data science tools and languages (e.g., Python/R, SQL, machine learning frameworks) is highly beneficial.
Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience in data-related domains is an advantage.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse learner groups.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively with academic teams and commit to an on-site, full-time schedule in Coimbatore.
