Middleware Production Support Lead / SME

Must-Have
Strong primary expertise in IBM MQ, including administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and production support.
Strong primary expertise in IBM WebSphere, including application server administration, deployment support, performance analysis and issue resolution.
Strong primary expertise in IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), with the ability to support and troubleshoot business-critical workflow environments.
Proven production support experience, with strong incident analysis, problem-solving and root-cause analysis capabilities.
Demonstrated proactive ownership, with the ability to independently lead projects from planning through implementation and successful delivery.
Good-to-Have
Working knowledge of JBoss application server administration and production support.
Working knowledge of Apache Tomcat administration, deployment and troubleshooting.
Effective stakeholder communication, documentation and coordination across application, infrastructure and support teams.

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

Provide end-to-end production support for IBM MQ, IBM WebSphere and BAW platforms, ensuring timely troubleshooting and service restoration.

Analyse incidents and recurring technical issues, identify root causes and recommend sustainable corrective and preventive actions.

Administer, monitor and support middleware environments, including deployments, configuration changes, patching and performance-related activities.

Take proactive ownership of operational risks, service improvements and technical deliverables, coordinating effectively with dependent teams and stakeholders.
5
Lead assigned projects independently, managing planning, execution, risk tracking, communication and delivery through successful closure.
