About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a special kind of person – a St Vincent’s kind of person. Someone who puts compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do (heartprint model).
Join our friendly team and help create meaningful moments for residents, families and visitors through exceptional coffee and customer service. This role provides a vital social and activity outlet for our residents as well as forming a safe and welcoming place for families to spend time together.
At St Vincent's Care Services Toowoomba, we're dedicated to providing compassionate care and creating a welcoming community where residents feel at home. We are currently seeking an extraverted and customer-focused Cafe Barista to join our team and support the daily operations of our on-site café.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is a skilled barista, looking to work between 9:00am – 3:00pm! Flexible Roster - Weekends also available.

Things that work for us
Previous experience as a Barista in a café or hospitality environment
Ability to consistently prepare high-quality coffee and beverages
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Experience handling cash and EFTPOS transactions
Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask during busy periods
A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within a team
As a Café Barista, you'll be responsible for:
Preparing and serving quality coffee, beverages and light refreshments
Delivering exceptional customer service to residents, families, visitors and staff
Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming café environment
Operating the point-of-sale system and handling transactions accurately
Assisting with stock control, ordering and replenishment
Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
