Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Engineer Mechanical Maintenance based in Jangipur. The role involves performing routine and corrective mechanical maintenance on production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Daily responsibilities include inspecting machinery, diagnosing mechanical issues, executing repairs, and coordinating with production teams to minimize downtime. The associate engineer will implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules, maintain accurate maintenance records, and support continuous improvement in equipment reliability. The role also requires adherence to safety procedures, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and timely escalation of critical issues to senior engineers or maintenance leads.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for industrial machinery and systems.
Candidates should possess solid Maintenance Engineering and Mechanical Maintenance skills for troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Preventive Maintenance, including planning and executing scheduled maintenance activities.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from a recognized institution.
Experience in automotive or manufacturing plant maintenance is preferred.
Understanding of safety standards, good housekeeping practices, and compliance with maintenance procedures.
Ability to read technical drawings, use standard maintenance tools, and work in shifts as required.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with operations and engineering teams.
