Role Description The Junior Interior Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. The role involves supporting interior design projects through concept development, space planning, and preparation of construction drawings under the guidance of senior designers. Responsibilities include assisting with layout designs, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), preparing presentations, and coordinating design details with project teams. The Junior Interior Designer will also participate in site visits, help ensure design intent is maintained during execution, and collaborate closely with consultants and vendors to meet project timelines and standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundational skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate concepts into functional layouts.
Understanding of Architecture and basic construction principles to support coordination with project teams.
Ability to develop and interpret Construction Drawings and documentation with attention to detail.
Knowledge of FF&E selection, including materials, finishes, and furnishings appropriate to project requirements.
Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and basic presentation tools.
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Strong visual communication skills, creativity, and an eye for detail.
Ability to work collaboratively on-site, manage time effectively, and adapt to project needs.
