Role Description The Junior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based at Gulmohar Greens–Golf & Country Club Ltd. in Ahmedabad. The Junior Accountant will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, preparing vouchers, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. Responsibilities include processing invoices, tracking accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and supporting payroll and expense management in coordination with the finance team. The role will also involve preparing basic financial reports, assisting with internal audits and compliance, and ensuring accurate documentation and filing of financial records. The Junior Accountant will collaborate with other departments to provide timely financial information and support smooth functioning of club operations.
Qualifications
Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial record-keeping.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for data entry, reporting, and reconciliation.
Ability to manage accounts payable/receivable, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations with attention to detail.
Good analytical and numerical skills to interpret financial data and support basic financial reporting.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with finance team and other departments.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Prior internship or 0–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in hospitality, leisure, or service sectors.
