The role
We are looking for a Thailand-based Business Development Specialist to support our clients in identifying and engaging local partners, distributors and customers in Thailand. You will work with our Vietnamese consultants in delivery and communication.
Location: Bangkok / remote within Thailand
Type: Project-based
Responsibilities
Identify and qualify potential Thai partners, distributors and buyers against the Client's criteria
Conduct market scans and prepare concise partner profiles and briefing materials
Manage outreach and follow-up to move leads through the pipeline
Coordinate communication between the Client and Thai partners
Support basic due diligence on potential partners
Keep accurate, detailed records of leads, interactions, feedback and outcomes
Conduct market feedback and insights from partners
Arrange partner meetings and local logistics for client business trips, and accompany clients to interpret at meetings
Requirements
Fluent Thai and professional English
3+ years in business development, trade promotion, market research or consulting
Existing network among Thai companies or business associations, or the ability to build one quickly
Strong research and writing skills, able to turn findings into clear partner profiles and recommendations
Organized and result-oriented, able to work independently and in small teams
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, international relations or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice to have
Experience working in an international environment
Knowledge of Thailand's business and regulatory environment
