Role Description The Service Manager role at Neovi Motors is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Service Manager oversees daily operations of the service department, including scheduling and prioritizing repairs, managing service advisors and technicians, and ensuring timely completion of work orders. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction by addressing service inquiries, resolving issues, and communicating clearly about repair status, costs, and timelines. The Service Manager monitors quality of work, enforces safety and compliance standards, and ensures proper use of tools, equipment, and service processes. In addition, the role involves tracking key performance metrics, optimizing workflows, coordinating with parts and sales teams, and implementing service initiatives that improve efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications
Atleast High school/Diploma/ITI with 3-4 years workshop management experience OR Graduate with 2 years of Automotive/Design/Management/Contract/Engineering experience.
Experience in automotive service management or workshop supervision, with strong knowledge of vehicle service processes and best practices.
Proficiency in team leadership, including training, mentoring, and performance management of service staff.
Ability to manage customer relationships, handle escalations professionally, and communicate clearly in person and in writing.
Competence with service scheduling, work order management, and use of service management software or dealership management systems.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of safety, regulatory, and compliance standards relevant to automotive servicing.
Relevant academic background, such as a diploma or degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in the automotive industry in Bengaluru or similar markets is an advantage.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, parts, and administrative staff.
Willingness to work on-site full time and adapt to changing operational needs.
