Role Description
This is a full-time role for an IT Operations Engineer at Abacus.AI. As an IT Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as troubleshooting, providing technical support, system administration, and managing information technology systems. This includes ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of all IT operations within the organization. You will be responsible in supporting a global team that is remote across different time zones.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience with IT Operations
2+ years professional experience in hands-on IT Operations roles, Sys Admin
Experience with setting up and supporting PCs/Macs in a corporate environment
Experience with end-point security on PCs/Mac including AntiVirus, Data leak prevention etc.
Experience with Jira or similar ticketing and service management tools
Experience with modern cloud environments: AWS/GCP/Azure
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to provide technical support to internal stakeholders
Ability to work independently and remotely
Nice to have:
Programming/Scripting experience
Knowledge of networking concepts: VPNs, Firewalls, ACLs
Knowledge of IT Security Compliance standards and protocols
