You will support day-to-day logistics operations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging digital tools and systems to enhance operational performance, improve data visibility and support decision-making. As part of the Logistics Operations team, you will contribute to efficient and sustainable supply chain solutions across a wide range of services supporting CERN's community, including Goods Reception and Expedition, Internal Delivery, Stores, Storage and Mail Services.
Your responsibilities
Support logistics operations, including inventory management and process optimisation.
Improve data visibility through technical tools such as Power BI and ERP systems, and contribute to KPI monitoring and reporting.
Contribute to the implementation of efficient and sustainable supply chain solutions and systems and to continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate operations-related projects with various stakeholders and contractors.
Your profile
First experience in Supply Chain Operations and Logistics, including inventory management, process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
First exposure in project management, data analytics and visualisation, using tools such as Power BI, Excel or ERP systems.
Experience working within a multinational team.
Skills
Good knowledge of Power BI, advanced Excel, ERP systems and data visualisation for KPI development and reporting.
Knowledge of continuous improvement, operational excellence, inventory and warehouse management.
Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration. Ability to work autonomously.
Spoken and written both English and French.
Eligibility criteria:
You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Supply Chain (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
Applicants without University degree are not eligible.
Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.
