What You’ll Be Part Of
As the Product Trainer, you will be part of the Brand Activation team, helping to elevate HARMAN's brand presence and product awareness in Indonesia. This role combines training, engagement, and brand advocacy, with responsibilities that include delivering product training to retail and distributor partners, supporting product launches, and representing HARMAN at consumer and media events. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Brand Activation, you will contribute to creating compelling product experiences that drive customer engagement and business results.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Plan Yearly, Quarterly and Monthly product training schedule based on the new product launch and campaign timing, and execute to promoters, retailers and distributors (by offline and online).
Develop product training materials and soft skill training materials based on the direction of global and regional product team by understanding competitors’ benchmarking in the market.
Measure and enhance promoter effectiveness by evaluating product knowledge, training adoption, and sales performance against targets across distributor-owned stores and key retailers. Use performance insights to improve customer interactions, recommend targeted coaching initiatives, and optimize promoter deployment.
Analyze feedback of trainings conducted from promoters/retailers/distributors to improve the quality of future trainings.
Articulate and deliver Harman product benefits as Master of Ceremony/Spokesperson to share advantages to consumers, media, reviewers through online/offline activities, and measure the performance of each activity (ex, number of viewers, engagement with audience, feedback from customers) and propose the actions for future activities.
Oversee the localization and quality review of product instruction manuals and marketing materials, ensuring accurate translation, product relevance, and consistency with HARMAN's global messaging and brand guidelines.
What Makes You A Strong Fit
Bachelor’s Degree in Product, Marketing, Communications or any related fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant role or field.
People-oriented, with good communication skills to build relationships and motivate people.
Project management skills.
Ability to monitor and report on training and activation activities, providing clear visibility into program performance, participant engagement, and business outcomes to support continuous improvement and decision-making.
Bonus Points if You Have
Prior experience in Consumer Electronics or FMCG industries.
Talent and aptitude to analyze and solve problems independently.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience in training staff across the country.
Deep understanding of competitors and advancement in technology trends in the CE, IT and mobile fields.
