About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to manage our GST, TDS, and reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in statutory compliance and day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns accurately and within due dates
Handle TDS computation, deduction, payment, and return filing
Perform GST and TDS reconciliations (GSTR-2B vs books, 26AS vs books, etc.)
Pass day-to-day accounting entries and maintain books of accounts
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
Coordinate with vendors/clients for invoice and reconciliation discrepancies
Support internal and statutory audits with relevant data and documentation
Ensure compliance with applicable GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations
Maintain proper records and documentation for all tax filings
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of GST provisions, TDS provisions, and accounting principles
Practical experience in GSTR-1, GSTR-3B filing and reconciliations
Proficiency in Tally / accounting software and MS Excel
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
