Role Description The Import Export Executive (EXIM Documentation) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The role involves managing import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements, and coordinating with logistics partners, freight forwarders, and customs agents. The executive will track shipment status, maintain accurate records, and support timely clearance of goods. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and related documents, while communicating with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations. The role also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of import-export procedures and supporting continuous improvement of EXIM processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Import and Import Logistics, including documentation, coordination, and compliance.
Candidates should possess solid Export-related skills, covering export documentation, shipment handling, and regulatory adherence.
Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
Relevant experience in EXIM operations, international trade, or logistics, preferably within a corporate or consulting environment.
Knowledge of customs procedures, INCOTERMS, and basic trade regulations.
Proficiency with MS Office and documentation management tools.
Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management skills.
Graduate degree in Commerce, Business, Logistics, or a related field; relevant certifications in export-import management are an advantage.
