Role Description The Store Manager role at Cantabil Retail in Ludhiana is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing daily store operations and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. The Store Manager will manage staff scheduling, performance, and training, while maintaining visual merchandising standards and stock presentation. This role includes monitoring sales performance, implementing promotional activities, and driving revenue targets. The Store Manager will also ensure adherence to company policies, manage cash handling and store audits, and coordinate with regional management on operational and marketing initiatives. The position requires active engagement on the sales floor to support customers, handle escalations, and foster a positive, service-oriented environment.
Qualifications
Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to handle queries and resolve issues promptly.
Effective Communication skills to interact with customers, lead store teams, and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in Store Management, including staff supervision, inventory handling, visual merchandising, and daily operational oversight.
Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to minimize shrinkage, ensure compliance, and maintain secure store operations.
Experience in retail or fashion apparel, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on store requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort using basic retail software and point-of-sale systems.
Graduate degree or equivalent experience in Retail Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
