Role Description
We are looking for a Steel Structural Engineer who has experience in Shop Drawing ( and has experience in US project ) to be outsourced for a company and who is available to start immediately.
It is a Project based due October 2.

Scope of Work: As-Built Shop Drawings & Structural Calculations, Existing Steel Stair.
Background: The stair is already fabricated and installed. It doesn't match the permit set: the arch. and struct. drawings show a delegated-design stair "by others," and the installed support scheme is different. The owner needs shop drawings that show the as-built condition, plus calcs confirming the existing stair is adequate. These are for Florida PE review and seal. The seal is by others and is not part of this scope.
1. As-built shop drawings (AutoCAD DWG + PDF, 24x36)
Plan, sections and elevations of both flights and the landing, fully dimensioned from the field survey provided.
Stringer layouts, landing framing plan, member schedule.
Connection details for every support:
wall-side stringer anchorage to the 12" CMU
landing seat angles at the CMU
top of stair at TB-3/CMU
base at the slab-on-grade
Tread/riser detail and guard layout (the existing steel guard is shown for reference).
Title block with a seal space for the reviewing engineer (their information will be provided).
2. Structural calculations (PDF, all equations shown)
Codes: FBC 2020 (7th Ed.), ASCE 7-16, AISC 360-16, ACI 318-14 Ch. 17, TMS 402, and the applicable ICC-ES anchor reports.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Civil and Structural Analysis and Design
Proficiency in using engineering design software and tools
Ability to interpret technical drawings and data accurately
Strong organizational and time management skills for remote work
Effective communication skills and experience in client collaboration
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a relevant field
Familiarity with relevant safety and compliance standards
