Job Description – Center Head Company
Fixity EdX Location: Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh
Employment Type: Full-Time
About Fixity EdX
FIXITY EdX is an education and upskilling company offering career-focused programs for college students and graduates. We are expanding our offline presence with our own learning center in Vijayawada, with a capacity of approximately 100 students. We are looking for a highly experienced Center Head to take complete ownership of the center’s growth, admissions, revenue, operations, and profitability.
Role Overview
The Center Head will operate the Vijayawada center as a business owner within the organization. This is not a conventional academic or administrative role. The person will be responsible for building the center's student acquisition engine, converting leads into enrollments, creating local demand, managing the center team, improving customer experience, and ultimately taking the center to strong and sustainable profitability. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience running an education, training, coaching, or EdTech center and should understand how to build a center from the ground up. The person should also be experienced enough to bring proven center-management practices and help build the operating playbook that Fixity EdX can replicate across future locations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue & Profitability
Take complete ownership of the center’s monthly revenue and profitability. Build and execute a roadmap to reach monthly revenue goals, with the potential to scale significantly beyond this. Own admissions targets, revenue targets, collections, and center-level P&L. Identify opportunities to improve revenue per student and overall center margins. Track and optimize key metrics including leads, walk-ins, counselling, conversions, enrollments, collections, and revenue.
2. Student Acquisition & Admissions
Develop and execute a strong local student acquisition strategy. Build a predictable admissions funnel for college students and graduates. Design and improve counselling and sales processes. Train and manage the admissions/counselling team. Develop effective offers, packages, pricing structures, and promotional campaigns. Continuously improve lead-to-enrollment conversion rates.
3. Local Marketing & Business Development
Own the center's local marketing strategy and execution. Identify opportunities for college partnerships, student communities, events, workshops, seminars, and other acquisition channels. Plan and execute local campaigns to generate qualified leads. Build relationships with colleges, student organizations, local communities, and other relevant stakeholders. Work closely with the central marketing team while taking ownership of local execution.
4. Center Operations
Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the center. Manage faculty, counselors, sales, operations, and support staff. Establish processes and SOPs for center operations. Maintain high standards of student experience and service delivery. Monitor attendance, batch utilization, classroom capacity, and operational efficiency. Ensure the center is utilized effectively and moves toward optimal capacity.
5. Team Leadership
Hire, train, manage, and motivate the center team. Set clear individual and team targets. Establish performance tracking and review mechanisms. Build a high-performance sales and operations culture. Take ownership of team productivity and accountability.
6. Business Intelligence & Reporting
Maintain accurate weekly and monthly performance dashboards. Analyze the complete admissions funnel and identify bottlenecks. Track CAC, conversion rates, revenue per student, collections, utilization, and profitability. Present clear business reviews and action plans to the leadership team.
7. Build the Fixity EdX Center Playbook
Develop a repeatable operating model for running profitable Big City EdX centers. Document best practices across admissions, marketing, sales, operations, staffing, and student experience. Bring learnings from previous center-management experience into the organization. Work closely with senior leadership to establish the framework for future center expansion.
What We Are Looking For
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably with significant experience managing an education/training center.
• Proven experience in center-level revenue ownership and admissions.
• Experience managing a physical education, coaching, skill-development, or EdTech center.
• Strong understanding of student acquisition, counselling, sales, and conversion.
• Experience with local marketing and community/college-level business development.
• Strong commercial and P&L orientation.
• Excellent people-management and leadership skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly entrepreneurial and hands-on approach.
• Ability to operate independently and take complete ownership of outcomes.
