Data & Analytics Engineer

You develop, operate, and continuously optimize modern data, analytics, and AI solutions within a cloud and data platform environment. Working closely with business units, Product Owners, and engineering teams, you design data-driven products following Data Mesh principles. By combining modern technologies, agile ways of working, and high technical standards, you deliver stable, secure, and maintainable solutions for complex enterprise environments.
Take ownership of data products in line with Data Mesh principles
Develop and operate scalable data pipelines and integrate diverse data sources
Analyze, model, and process structured and unstructured data for reporting, analytics, and AI applications
Ensure solution quality, security, data privacy, and maintainability
Contribute to architecture, design, and implementation decisions while continuously improving standards and processes
Provide second- and third-level support and take responsibility for operational tasks
Your Skills
Degree (ETH, University, University of Applied Sciences, or Higher Technical College) in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or AI Engineering within complex enterprise environments
Strong knowledge of modern cloud and data platforms, ideally AWS
Experience in building and operating data platforms and scalable data pipelines
Familiarity with software engineering principles and automated build, test, and deployment processes
Strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
Enjoy working collaboratively across disciplines and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
Curiosity and enthusiasm for modern technologies and ways of working
Fluent German and good English language skills
