Role Description The Site Engineer role at Foxscan is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The Site Engineer will conduct detailed structural diagnostics at residential properties, including inspecting seepage, dampness, and structural integrity using thermal imaging equipment and standard civil engineering assessment methods. The role involves documenting findings, preparing clear, evidence-based reports, and communicating results to homeowners in a professional and accessible manner. The Site Engineer will collaborate with certified engineers to validate assessments, maintain high quality control standards, and ensure all diagnostics remain independent of repair services or contractor influence. The position also requires adherence to safety protocols, accurate data collection, and timely completion of site visits and reports.
Qualifications
Strong structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge, with the ability to apply engineering principles to residential diagnostics.
Demonstrated on-site assessment skills, including experience conducting field inspections and using diagnostic tools or measuring equipment.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings clearly and neutrally to homeowners.
Experience with quality control practices, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and reliability in inspection and reporting processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification.
Prior experience in building inspection, structural audits, or construction-related site work is preferred.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple site visits, and deliver reports within defined timelines.
Familiarity with thermal imaging or willingness to learn and use diagnostic technologies in the field.
