As an LQA Tester, you will help ensure that localized video games deliver a polished and enjoyable experience to players worldwide.
You will review in-game content for linguistic accuracy, consistency, grammar, context, and overall quality.
The role involves identifying issues, documenting bugs clearly, and tracking them throughout the testing lifecycle.
You will work within defined project guidelines while collaborating with project teams to resolve language-related issues efficiently.
Attention to detail is essential, as your feedback will directly contribute to the quality and accessibility of localized game experiences.
This is a remote contract opportunity suited to someone with professional localization QA experience and a genuine passion for gaming.

Accountabilities
Perform linguistic quality assurance testing on localized video game content.
Review in-game text carefully to identify linguistic, grammatical, contextual, and consistency issues.
Identify language-related defects and assess their impact on the player experience.
Log bugs accurately using appropriate bug-tracking and project management systems.
Provide clear, concise descriptions of identified issues to help project teams understand and resolve them.
Follow project-specific testing procedures, quality standards, and localization guidelines.
Track reported issues throughout the testing process and provide relevant updates as required.
Collaborate with project teams and other stakeholders to support high-quality localized game releases.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail and consistency across assigned testing tasks.
Contribute to an engaging and polished experience for players in the target market.
Requirements
At least 2 years of professional experience in localization quality assurance, preferably within the video game industry.
Native-level fluency in the target language.
Strong written and spoken English skills for understanding project instructions and communicating effectively with international project teams.
Excellent attention to detail, particularly when reviewing language, terminology, grammar, context, and consistency.
Familiarity with bug-tracking and project management tools.
Ability to follow detailed testing procedures and project-specific guidelines consistently.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage assigned testing tasks independently.
Clear and professional written communication skills.
Ability to identify problems accurately and communicate them in a concise, actionable manner.
Genuine enthusiasm for video games and familiarity with gaming terminology, interfaces, and player experiences.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams.
