Payments Sales Manager - Corporate Sales - Executive Director (London)

The Payments Corporate Sales team manage a portfolio of UK FTSE 100 corporate clients, holding responsibility for their global Payments business.
As a senior Payment Sales Manager with in the Payments Corporate Sales team you will manage a portfolio of UK FTSE 100 corporate clients, holding responsibility for their global Payments business. You will be accountable for driving revenue growth across treasury services, merchant services, and trade & working capital, while ensuring disciplined pipeline management, consistent sales execution, and high-quality client outcomes. This role requires strong leadership across regions, the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and the capability to lead client teams to deliver innovative, scalable solutions that improve clients’ treasury operations and working capital efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
Own regional and cross-regional Payments sales strategy for clients within your portfolio, including pipeline build and delivery of new business sales goals
Drive sales of the full Payments product suite, including treasury services (core cash clearing, liquidity management, and foreign exchange solutions), merchant services, and trade & working capital solutions.
Partner closely with internal Global Corporate Banking (GCB) partners to align priorities, coordinate client coverage, and ensure consistent messaging and execution across regions and time zones.
Demonstrate understanding of industry/segment dynamics and client treasury operating models; direct the development and delivery of sophisticated, multi-product solutions in partnership with internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain senior, trusted relationships with key clients and prospects; engage at strategic levels to create integrated treasury dialogues within a consultative, client-led framework.
Lead and coordinate competitive tender responses and proactive proposals on a global basis. Including orchestration with local-country coverage, Product Management, Implementation, Client-Service and internal control partners.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Relevant experience in Payments sales or related areas, with demonstrated success in building client relationships, winning, and closing new business.
Strong knowledge of cash & liquidity management products, and solid understanding of compliance and Know Your Client (KYC) processes and how they impact deal execution.
Proven ability to manage regional pipeline governance and deal prioritization across multiple markets (including cross-time-zone coverage).
Strong selling, negotiation, and influencing skills, with experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder solutions.
Excellent partnership and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders; ability to align HQ and regional teams to common goals.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
Experience covering multinational clients and coordinating across regions
Exposure to multiple functions such as coverage, sales, client service, operations, product, and implementation.
Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word (and Access preferred) skills for pipeline reporting, client analytics, and executive-ready materials.
