The U.S. Consumer Services and Enterprise Digital & Data Technology Team delivers strategic technology capabilities across digital experiences, AI/ML, marketing technology, enterprise communications and automation.
We are looking for a Senior Engineer II – MarTech Architecture, Adobe Journey Optimizer & Decisioning to lead the architecture, design and hands-on implementation of enterprise customer journey orchestration, personalization and decisioning solutions.
This role requires deep expertise in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), AJO Decisioning/Offer Decisioning, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real-Time CDP (RTCDP), combining architect-level thinking with hands-on engineering, strong ownership, technical leadership and effective engagement with business and senior stakeholders.
12+ years of technology/software engineering experience, preferably across MarTech, personalization, customer engagement, CDP, journey orchestration or enterprise application development.
5+ years of hands-on Adobe MarTech/Experience Cloud experience, with architect-level expertise and strong implementation capabilities.
Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise Adobe implementations, including substantial AJO/AEP solutions.
Deep hands-on expertise in AJO, journey orchestration, personalization and Decisioning/Offer Decisioning.
Strong expertise in AEP, RTCDP, XDM, datasets, Identity Service, Real-Time Customer Profile and segmentation.
Working with knowledge of CJA, Adobe Data Collection, Web SDK, Mobile SDK, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target.
Strong understanding of customer identity, profiles, audiences, event-driven architecture and real-time personalization/decisioning.
Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs, Postman, JSON, SQL and enterprise integrations.
Experience with Agile engineering, CI/CD, automated testing and cloud-native technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of software design patterns, security, performance and scalability.
Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams, influence across organizational boundaries and balance strategy, architecture and hands-on execution.
Excellent problem-solving, ownership, executive communication, presentation and storytelling skills.
Curiosity and willingness to adopt emerging technologies, particularly AI/Generative AI.
Additional Technical Experience Preferred
Experience in one or more of the following is advantageous:
Java, J2EE, Spring Boot and enterprise application development
Relational databases and GCP Big Query
JUnit, Cucumber, TDD and BDD
Enterprise REST APIs and web services
React or modern web technologies
Multi-threaded programming and data structures
