Role Description The BIM Modeler is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The role involves developing and managing detailed 3D BIM models for interior, architectural, and MEP elements, ensuring alignment with project specifications and design intent. Daily responsibilities include interpreting construction drawings, coordinating with architects, engineers, and project managers, and updating models to reflect design changes and site conditions. The BIM Modeler will support clash detection, generate model-based documentation, and assist in preparing accurate layouts and visualizations for client presentations. The position also requires maintaining model standards, ensuring data integrity, and contributing to efficient project workflows.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Architecture and interior design fundamentals relevant to BIM modeling.
Candidates should possess skills as a Modeler, including 3D modeling, detailing, and visualization.
Candidates should possess familiarity with Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination within BIM environments.
Candidates should possess the ability to interpret and work with Construction Drawings and related documentation.
Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks or equivalent) and CAD tools is highly beneficial.
Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Effective communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
