As a Merchant Logistics Associate, you’ll be acting as a key factor in onboarding, managing and coordinating devices for our new and existing partners in giving them a unique Wolt experience. You will be closely working together with the restaurant and retail onboarding team to prepare our partners' devices, manage the inventory and ensure month-on-month product availability.
As such, we need a strong hands-on self-starter, to drive the inventory and devices of new and existing partners.
What you’ll be doing
Prepare Hardware for new and existing Wolt merchants in Germany.
Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including shipment preparation, tracking, and follow-up on delivery issues.
Manage the refurbishment process for returned/used devices, ensuring devices are checked, prepared, and ready for reuse and redeployment to merchants.
Prioritize the reuse of refurbished devices where possible to support hardware cost efficiency and sustainable device lifecycle management.
Scan and update inventory items, maintaining precise records of incoming and outgoing stock.
Scan and update inventory items in the inventory management system, maintaining accurate records of incoming, outgoing, returned, and refurbished stock.
Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve device, shipment, inventory, and logistics-related issues.
Conduct monthly inventory checks to uphold consistent product availability.
Maintain optimal inventory levels for production and proactively prepare for peak periods.
Efficiently arrange items and equipment for a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace.
Perform physical tasks involving lifting, moving, and handling inventory.
Our humble expectations
Previous experience in inventory management and warehouse operations within a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills for collaboration within cross-functional teams, both internally and externally.
Familiarity with supply chain operations is advantageous.
Proficiency with technical tools is beneficial.
Hands-on mentality, adept at maintaining composure in stressful situations, and always ready to take initiative.
Self-motivated, comfortable adapting to changing demands, priorities, or procedures.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
Nice to haves:
This role seeks an individual with a background in logistics/warehouse and a proactive approach to managing inventory while ensuring operational efficiency within a dynamic workspace.
