The company works across functions including production, purchase, calibration, planning, quality, research and development, sales, human resources, service, and packaging. You will lead the Stores Team and coordinate with production, calibration, PPC, purchase, packing, quality, R&D, service, sales, and other stakeholders to maintain material availability against production plans. The role combines operational control with continuous improvement, SAP participation, space optimization, safety compliance, and associate capability development. Success means faster and more accurate goods receipt processing, reliable kit withdrawal, on-time dispatch, strong audit readiness, and measurable improvement in stores and packaging processes. You will report to the Manufacturing Excellence Head and help establish a capable backup structure for sustained performance.
Key Responsibilities
Own stores and dispatch performance through disciplined receipt, storage, issuance, transfer, documentation, and outward logistics controls, ensuring material availability supports production schedules and customer commitments.
Govern inventory accuracy and space utilization through robust physical controls, timely Goods Receipt Notes, stock monitoring, abnormality escalation, and corrective actions that reduce delays and prevent material shortages.
Coordinate with production, calibration, PPC, purchase, packing, quality, R&D, service, and sales teams through clear planning and material movement processes, improving execution against manufacturing priorities.
Lead SAP reviews and transaction discipline by validating process adherence, resolving product-related issues with R&D, and strengthening data quality for dependable inventory and operational decisions.
Deliver lean improvements through Kaizen, 5S, process improvement events, and material-flow redesign, converting stores observations into measurable gains in safety, space, productivity, and service reliability.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, regulatory, and ISO requirements by maintaining audit readiness, closing safety actions, deploying behavior-based safety, and eliminating critical findings.
Build Stores Team capability through skill evaluation, coaching, operational standards, and backup planning, creating a resilient team that sustains performance during growth and changing business priorities.
Essential Skills & Technologies
Proven stores and dispatch leadership in manufacturing, including material inward, Goods Receipt Notes, inventory control, stock transfers, issue processes, outward logistics, and delivery monitoring across operational environments.
Strong working knowledge of SAP-enabled stores processes, inventory documentation, material movement controls, and transaction accuracy, with the judgment to identify exceptions and drive timely resolution.
Demonstrated capability in space optimization, warehouse discipline, 5S, Kaizen, lean improvement, and material-flow management, translating operational observations into sustained productivity and service outcomes.
Practical understanding of health, safety, environmental, regulatory, and ISO requirements, including audit preparation, safety committee action closure, behavior-based safety, and shop-floor compliance routines.
Effective stakeholder management across production, PPC, purchase, calibration, packing, quality, R&D, service, sales, HR, vendors, and customers, keeping material priorities aligned and issues visible.
Strong decision-making, information management, relationship management, and problem-solving capability, with the maturity to manage operational abnormalities and protect production continuity.
People leadership experience covering store associate development, capability assessment, coaching, performance standards, and succession or backup planning for critical stores responsibilities.
Additional Plus
Experience supporting manufacturing ramp-up, plant expansion, operational excellence programs, or transformation initiatives where stores capability had to scale with production requirements.
Exposure to instrumentation, electronics, electrical, mechanical, or related industrial manufacturing environments, with an understanding of component handling, traceability, and cross-functional quality requirements.
Experience managing customer and vendor coordination for dispatch, delivery monitoring, documentation, escalations, and service recovery within a controlled manufacturing supply chain.
What You'll Bring
A Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering, combined with 10–13 years of experience handling stores and dispatch activities in a manufacturing environment.
Ownership of end-to-end stores operations, from material receipt and Goods Receipt Notes through storage, issue, transfers, documentation, dispatch, and delivery monitoring, with consistent attention to accuracy and timeliness.
The ability to connect daily stores execution with production plans, customer expectations, compliance obligations, and business performance, using facts and structured escalation to resolve operational constraints.
A hands-on leadership approach that develops store associates, strengthens backup capability, encourages Kaizen and 5S participation, and builds a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Why Join Us
