Role Description The Facade Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane, responsible for overseeing the installation and execution of facade works at project sites. This role involves planning daily activities, coordinating work schedules, and supervising site teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of structural glazing, ACP cladding, glass railing, and related facade systems. The Facade Supervisor monitors quality, safety, and compliance with drawings, specifications, and relevant standards, while collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors. The role also includes inspecting materials, resolving site issues, maintaining progress reports, and supporting handover of completed works.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of facade systems and materials, including structural glazing, ACP cladding, and glass assemblies.
Experience in site supervision, construction coordination, and managing installation teams for facade projects.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications, with basic understanding of engineering principles.
Proficiency in site documentation, progress reporting, and use of basic digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets).
Solid understanding of safety standards and best practices for working at heights and on active construction sites.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills for interacting with clients and project teams.
Prior experience in facade, glazing, or exterior cladding projects; experience in commercial or high-rise projects is an advantage.
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related construction discipline preferred; relevant certifications are beneficial.
