The Role
You are Cvent's security expert for enterprise customers - owning calls, architecture deep-dives, and security reviews with Fortune 500 security teams across financial services, healthcare, and payments. When the deal is on the line, you give an accurate answer or commit to one. You turn reviews into a sales accelerator, lead credible AI security conversations from day one, and build the automation that makes the whole process measurably lighter every quarter.
Customer Security Reviews (65%)
Own customer security calls, RFPs, and application and cloud infrastructure architecture deep-dives with
sophisticated customer security teams.
Lead AI security conversations on Cvent AI features, MCP exposure, context governance and data protection.
Turn reviews into an accelerator: build reusable artifacts, maintain the trust center, and deflect repeat questions
before they reach a human. Measure success by shorter onboarding cycles, not questionnaire volume.
Partner with Sales, Infosec, and Product to keep security documentation current and close deals faster.
AI Security & Governance (15%)
Answer customer AI governance questions (model use, data handling, third-party AI risk) arising in reviews and
audits.
Validate AI-generated responses for accuracy, hallucination, and data-privacy risk before they reach customers.
Stay current on AI security risks and regulatory guidance.
Automation & Process (10%)
Design and ship AI agents that close Conveyor gaps, automate evidence collection, and shrink manual review
work quarter-over-quarter.
Track and report KPIs on review cycle time, deflection rate, and automation coverage.
Customer Audit Support (10%)
Lead evidence collection, coordinate audit responses, and drive mitigation of findings.
3-5 years in customer-facing security at a B2B SaaS company.
Proven ability to hold composed, accurate technical conversations with enterprise security teams under deal pressure.
Demonstrated experience deploying AI
agents to production (not prototypes). Real systems for compliance, triage, or questionnaire automation.
Deep enough AI/LLM security knowledge to explain prompt injections, agent guardrails, MCP exposure to a customer.
Comfortable working evening IST hours to overlap with US and EU customers (non-negotiable).
Bonus
Basic knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, GDPR, PCI-DSS
Experience with Conveyor, Vanta, or similar trust/compliance platforms.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Slack, Box, and Zoom.
