We are looking for an experienced PL/SQL Architect to design, develop, optimize, and modernize enterprise-scale Oracle database solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, database architecture, performance optimization, data modeling, high-volume transaction processing, and enterprise application integration.
Key Responsibilities
• Design scalable and enterprise-grade Oracle database architectures.
• Develop complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors, and stored procedures.
• Define database design standards, development standards, and PL/SQL coding best practices.• Perform advanced SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
• Analyze execution plans, AWR/ASH reports, wait events, locking issues, and database performance metrics.
• Design indexing and partitioning strategies for large-volume transactional systems.
• Build and optimize schemas, relationships, constraints, materialized views, and database objects.
• Lead database modernization and migration initiatives.
• Identify database bottlenecks and provide architecture-level recommendations.
• Work closely with DBAs on high availability, backup/recovery, replication, and disaster recovery.
• Integrate Oracle databases with APIs, middleware, Java/.NET applications, and third-party enterprise systems.
• Review database architecture, technical designs, SQL, and PL/SQL code developed by engineering teams.
• Establish reusable frameworks, libraries, and database components.
• Mentor senior developers and provide technical leadership to database engineering teams.
• Support critical production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in architecture reviews, solution design, estimation, and technical documentation.

10–15+ years of Oracle database development and architecture experience

Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
