That Design Studio is looking for a Junior Architect to join our growing team. We work across hospitality, commercial and residential projects, with a strong focus on spatial design, materiality, detailing and creating spaces with a distinct point of view.
As a Junior Architect, you’ll be involved in projects from concept development through execution, working closely with the design team and consultants to translate ideas into well-resolved spaces.
What you’ll be doing
Developing architectural and interior design drawings from concept to execution
Preparing detailed working drawings, plans, elevations, sections and construction details
Working on furniture, joinery, material and lighting details
Assisting with design development, presentations and documentation
Coordinating with consultants, vendors and site teams
Visiting sites and understanding how drawings translate into built spaces
Researching materials, finishes, products and design references
Supporting the team through different stages of a project, from initial ideas to execution
What we’re looking for
0–2 years of professional experience
A degree in Architecture
Strong understanding of architectural and interior detailing
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Good visual and spatial sense
Strong attention to detail
Ability to read and develop technical drawings
Willingness to learn, take ownership and work collaboratively
An interest in hospitality and interior design is preferred
We’re looking for someone who is curious, detail-oriented and genuinely interested in design — someone who wants to understand not just how a space looks, but why it works.
