Broad outline of the Role
A Network & Security professional designs, implements, and monitors the IT infrastructure that protects an organization's data. They manage firewalls, troubleshoot network issues, simulate cyberattacks, and ensure smooth data transmission while guarding against unauthorized access, malware, and security breaches and including delivery of security infrastructure projects. This is an operational role, responsible for delivering results that have a direct impact on day-to-day operations and capable of instructing professional or technical staff and reviewing the quality of the work undertaken by these roles.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
4-7 years in IT operations
Other Knowledge & Skills
Technical sound in end user's management
Proven experience as IT Security Operations
Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis
Capable of instructing professional or technical staff and reviewing the quality of the work undertaken by these roles.
Key Responsibilities
Experience in F5 ASM, GTM and GSLB configurations and troubleshooting.
Experience in Wireless technologies with expert knowledge in Cisco ISE or any other NAC solution.
Experience in managing the network Security - VPN, IPSEC, IPS/IDS & Firewall Policies.
Experience in managing the Web Proxy for URL/Content filtering - Netskope.
Excellent communication skills and team player with ability to build solid relationships at all levels, across teams, geographies, and business functions.
Experience In Solving Broad Business Problems And Analytical Skills.
Excellent judgment, decision-making skills, and the ability to work under continual deadline pressure when the situation is ambiguous. Strong negotiation skills and conflict management skills.
Gather requirement from business and assist with creation of solutions to meet operational needs
Deliver user documentation where required Quantify and analyze the service requests and incidents raised.
Liaise with the business to evaluate reduction of the number of tickets raised.
Drive creation of standard reports formats where possible Share periodic projects status with relevant stakeholders. Coordinate with the corporate security teams for all IT related security activities.
Monitor, drive and track the compliance audit process for IT applications in coordination with the IT governance team on aspects such as SOX audits, security audits.
Resolve issues escalated by technicians and engineers. Provide 24 x 7 infrastructure and application support.
Drive incident problem change release configuration availability and capacity management with respect to IT Security Infrastructure.
