About the Company
We are hiring for an established career counselling and global university admissions advisory firm based in New Delhi, with deep expertise in helping students make informed academic and career decisions.
The organisation works closely with ambitious students and families to build strong academic and extracurricular profiles and navigate applications to highly selective universities across the US and UK, including institutions such as Oxbridge, Ivy League universities and MIT.
The organisation is currently strengthening its global admissions consulting team and is looking for young professionals who want to build a long-term career in education and admissions consulting.
About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Consultant – International Admissions to support students throughout their university admissions journey.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in global education, research, consulting and student mentorship.
You will work alongside experienced consultants, gradually learning how to evaluate student profiles, research universities, develop application strategies and manage the different moving parts involved in competitive US and UK admissions.
The role is designed to provide increasing ownership: starting with structured training and case support before progressing toward independently handling a small portfolio of students.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Student Profile Evaluation
Participate in student counselling and strategy sessions.
Understand each student's academics, extracurricular activities, interests and aspirations.
Maintain detailed notes and student profiles.
Evaluate profiles using the organisation's admissions framework.
Identify strengths, gaps and potential areas for profile development.
2. University & Admissions Research
Conduct detailed research on universities and academic programmes across the US and UK.
Track application requirements, admissions deadlines, testing policies and scholarships.
Stay updated on changes in international admissions.
Support senior consultants with research required for individual student cases.
3. Admissions Strategy & Profile Building
Assist in developing university shortlists based on each student's profile and aspirations.
Help create structured profile-building roadmaps.
Research relevant competitions, research opportunities, summer programmes and extracurricular opportunities.
Support senior consultants in developing personalized admissions strategies for students.
4. Application Management
Maintain accurate application trackers and documentation.
Monitor deadlines and ensure important requirements are completed on time.
Support students with Common App and UCAS application processes.
Maintain checklists and ensure that no application milestone or documentation requirement is missed.
5. Student & Parent Communication
Maintain regular communication with students and parents.
Provide clear updates regarding timelines, requirements and next steps.
Conduct timely follow-ups throughout the admissions journey.
Handle routine questions professionally and escalate strategic matters to senior consultants where appropriate.
Key KPIs
Performance in this role will primarily be evaluated across:
Student & Case Management
Accuracy and completeness of student profiles and case notes.
Timeliness of student and parent follow-ups.
Ability to gradually take ownership of assigned student cases.
Research & Admissions Accuracy

Minimal errors or missed deadlines.
Communication & Ownership
Quality and professionalism of student and parent communication.
Responsiveness and reliability.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Ideally a 2025 or 2026 graduate.
0–1 year of professional experience; strong fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Genuine curiosity about universities, education and people.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong research and organisational abilities.
Patience, maturity and discretion while working with students and parents.
Comfortable using Google Workspace and spreadsheets.
Good to Have
You may have an advantage if you have:
Studied or applied to universities abroad.
Led a college society, publication or college festival.
Tutored or mentored younger students.
Participated in debating or Model United Nations.
Experience with public writing or other communication-intensive activities.
What You'll Get
The organization has a particularly structured development path for this position. New hires receive formal training in profile building, applications and student evaluation before supporting live cases alongside senior consultants. As they develop, Associates can begin taking first-line responsibility for a small group of students, with a formal progression review around the first year.
You'll also get:
Structured training from day one.
Mentorship from experienced admissions professionals with track records across Oxbridge, Sciences Po and Ivy League institutions.
A clearly defined career progression path from Associate Consultant → Consultant → Senior Consultant → Team Lead/Technical Director.
