About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Tekla Detailer to join our dynamic team of six specialists delivering full turnkey steel construction solutions. This role involves working on a variety of off-site steel construction projects, including hot rolled, cold rolled, infill, and load-bearing steel systems.
As a core part of our design and detailing team, you’ll use Tekla Structures to produce high-quality drawings and 3D models for fabrication and installation across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Create accurate 3D models and 2D drawings using Tekla Structures.
Develop detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for hot rolled, cold rolled, infill, and load-bearing steelwork.
Liaise with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and project alignment.
Contribute to off-site construction processes ensuring prefabrication and installation efficiency.
Ensure all drawings meet industry standards, building regulations, and client specifications.
Participate in internal design reviews and assist with clash detection and coordination.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Tekla Draughtsperson or Structural Steel Detailer.
Strong working knowledge of Tekla Structures software.
Experience with hot rolled steel and cold rolled infill systems.
Understanding of load-bearing and modular/off-site construction techniques.
Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a small, fast-paced team.
Desirable
Familiarity with other detailing software or BIM coordination tools.
Experience in a design-and-build or turnkey steel construction environment.
