CAD Technician - Infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare Potable Water, Irrigation, Sewerage, and Storm Water network drawings.
• Produce layouts, plans, profiles, sections, details, and technical drawings from
engineering data and sketches.
• Prepare MV & LV electrical cable routing and substation drawings.
• Prepare Telecom, Street Lighting, CCTV, and other dry utility drawings.
• Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and load schedule drawings.
• Prepare building wiring and lighting drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design
compliance and quality.
Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• Proven project experience within the UAE.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Experience in Civil 3D is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows will be an added advantage.
• Experience in utilities, roads and master development projects.
• Familiarity with UAE authority standards and approval processes will be an added
advantage.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
Role Overview
The CAD Technician will be responsible for preparing accurate and high-quality CAD
drawings for infrastructure projects, including both dry and wet utilities. The role involves close coordination with engineers, designers, and other disciplines to produce drawings compliant with UAE authority standards and project requirements.
The selected candidates will support all project stages, including concept design, detailed design, authority submissions, construction documentation, and as - built drawings, ensuring timely and accurate project delivery.
