Role Description The Manager – Product Sourcing Merchandising & Category Marketing is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurgaon / Dehradun. This role is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and managing product assortments aligned with Tupperware India’s brand, consumer needs, and market trends. The manager will oversee merchandising strategies, category planning, and lifecycle management to ensure optimal product positioning and performance across channels. Day-to-day activities include coordinating with suppliers, analyzing sales and category data, developing promotional and marketing plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance. The role also involves monitoring competitor activity, optimizing pricing and margins, and ensuring product quality and brand consistency in the Indian market.
Qualifications
Strong skills in product sourcing, vendor management, and negotiation, with experience in managing supplier relationships and procurement processes.
Expertise in merchandising, category management, and assortment planning, including demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
Experience in marketing and category marketing, with the ability to develop and execute go-to-market plans, promotions, and product positioning strategies.
Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and reporting, using insights to drive product, pricing, and merchandising decisions.
Capability to collaborate across functions, lead cross-functional projects, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, marketing, retail management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Prior experience in FMCG, consumer goods, kitchenware, or retail categories is highly beneficial.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
