Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer is responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs to produce air conditioning accessories and components to precise specifications. In this full-time remote role, the CNC Programmer analyzes technical drawings and engineering specifications, creates tool paths, and selects appropriate tooling and machining strategies for milling and related operations. The role involves adjusting and improving existing programs, troubleshooting machining issues, and collaborating with engineers, production teams, and quality personnel to ensure accurate and efficient manufacturing. The CNC Programmer documents processes, maintains organized program files, and supports continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, quality, and safety. Regular communication via digital tools and adherence to remote working practices are essential.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Technical Drawing and blueprint reading skills to interpret engineering specifications and tolerances.
Candidates should possess practical CNC Programming and Programming skills for developing, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs.
Candidates should possess hands-on Machining and Milling skills to understand cutting conditions, tooling, and production methods.
Candidates should possess solid problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Candidates should possess proficiency with CNC programming software and CAD/CAM tools, along with basic computer literacy.
Candidates should possess attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills for collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field is beneficial, as is prior experience in HVAC or air conditioning component manufacturing.
