As our new Designer BIM Aviation, you will be part of a committed, performance driven team within Ramboll India. The successful candidate will contribute to safe, compliant, and operationally efficient airfield lighting solutions aligned with ICAO and local regulatory requirements.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
Technical Design & BIM Modelling
Providing electrical design solutions for airport projects as per the requirements
Lead and deliver modelling of MEP components , including airside, landside infra and ancillary buildings
Prepare Project’s digital requirements wrt MEP components
Work according to our Digital Delivery Plan (BIM Execution Plan).
Quality-assuring our digital deliverables.
Assisting the BIM Manager in driving the project forward with a focus on efficient information management.
Managing the BIM aspects of the project, including the development and execution of BIM strategies and workflows wrt MEP components.
Assist model integration and clash resolution. Conducting quality checks and reviewing drawings to maintain precision, compliance, and adherence to project standards.
Responsible for the project's digital and data/metadata requirements, including project and client data and CAD needs for MEP components.
Collaborate with project managers and control the exchange of information and deliverables on issues related to digital design.
Client & Business Support
Participate in client meetings, technical workshops, and design reviews
Communicating with Clients and other stakeholders for understanding technical requirements
Willing to collaborate and contribute to Business development activities including providing inputs for bid and tenders

BE/B. Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering degree in Engineering from an institute of repute or equivalent.
Experience required 5-10 Years.
Should have experience in medium to large design projects preferably EPC projects.
Should have proficiency in one or more software such as AutoCAD , Revit, Infraworks NavisWorks.
Should have Knowledge in shared project software e.g., Filery/Projectwise/ Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/Revitzo/Aconex/Chaos/Server/Folder structure/Chaos Desktop and Client DMS.
Should have previous experience of data coordination for complex projects.
In addition to technical / functional acumen, candidate should have good communication skills and should be able to present their work.
Should be enthusiastic, willing to learn and engage and should coordinate with other team members and the project manager for timely delivery of project.
Professional English language skills (written and verbal).
Good analytical skills and problem-solving techniques
