We are looking for a Manager of Employee Relations & Labor Relations (all genders) with a strong focus on Germany, based in one of our European locations. The Manager of Employee Relations / Labor Relations is responsible for fostering a positive work environment by managing employee relations and labor relations activities. This role involves addressing employee concerns, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and developing strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
What you'll be doing:
• Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures to ensure a fair and consistent approach to managing employee issues.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances, conducting thorough investigations and resolving conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
• Advise management on labor relations issues, including contract negotiations, labor disputes, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with HR and management teams to develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
• Conduct training sessions for managers and employees on topics such as conflict resolution, labor laws, and company policies.
• Monitor and analyze employee relations trends to identify areas for improvement and develop proactive solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases and ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal requirements.
Additional Responsibilities as assigned
We’d love to hear from you if:
• Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in employee relations or labor relations, with a proven track record of managing complex employee issues.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations, with eagerness to learn and develop a focus on Germany.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and management.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Experience in conducting investigations and managing employee grievances. • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
