Job Description
As a Team Leader within the Apps and Software domain, your mission is to lead the entire product team—comprising developers, testers, and DevOps professionals—within the Global Engineering Centre of Atlas Copco (GECIA).
You will drive the delivery of high-quality projects and solutions, ensuring the implementation of best practices in software development. Your leadership will help establish GECIA as the preferred partner for the digitalization journey of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Focus
Enhance customer satisfaction by fostering a customer-focused culture.
Communicate promptly and proactively with all stakeholders.
Build and implement effective governance mechanisms to track, progress, and update projects, proposals, and business engagements.
Create and maintain dashboards and KPIs to control, monitor, and improve quality, delivery, and cost parameters.
Ensure resource and team availability for customer requirements.
Develop and coach team members for effective communication with customers, positioning GECIA as the first point of contact for Apps and Software services.
People Focus
Attract and retain talent in the team.
Provide mentoring, coaching, and technical leadership to team members.
Map competencies and skill sets, identify gaps, and execute training plans for all team members.
Conduct talent reviews and create development plans for each individual.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and team success aligned with business and customer success.
Build subject matter experts in various technology stacks, establishing GECIA as a competence center.
Focus on strong employee engagement and help team members identify their purpose.
Innovation Focus
Lead the implementation of industry best practices and stay updated on emerging trends.
Propose and implement plans to address competency gaps and drive innovation within the team.
Operational Excellence
Act as a Scrum Master, driving Agile practices and ceremonies. Scrum certification is a plus.
Serve as a Business Analyst, understanding customer requirements and providing viable, sustainable solutions.
Develop and maintain a resource planning mechanism for optimal utilization.
Bring transparency to resource planning, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing project execution.
Identify resource and infrastructure needs for successful project delivery.
Refine solution offerings, requirements definition, and estimation processes to achieve sales and revenue targets.
Lead process improvements in project management and client interactions, ensuring high-quality delivery.
Drive high project billability, profitability, and revenue realization with a focus on quality execution.
What We Expect From You
Educational Qualification: B.E., B.Tech, or M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from a reputed university.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in the IT industry.
At least 2–3 years of experience in people/team management.
Skills:
Strong business analytical skills to align technical solutions with business goals.
Excellent team management and leadership abilities.
Ability to drive technical excellence, foster innovation, and ensure quality.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Strategic thinking focused on business outcomes.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and following agile processes.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
Technical Background:
Prior experience as a developer or tester to effectively understand technical concepts and jargon.
